Juan Carlos Sedillo

Mr. Sedillo joined Griffin & Matthews as a litigation associate. A native of New Mexico, Mr. Sedillo moved to San Antonio, Texas in 2007 where he received a Doctor of Jurisprudence from St. Mary’s University School of Law. There is a strong tradition of law in Mr. Sedillo’s family dating back to his great-grandfather, A.A. Sedillo, who was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1899. As a fourth generation attorney, Mr. Sedillo has seen the inevitable need for attorneys in both our business and personal lives.

In his years of practice, Mr. Sedillo has significant experience in both litigation and transactional matters with particular success in outside general counsel services. His overall knowledge, personable nature, and practical approach results in long term relationships and reciprocal loyalty from his clients.

Mr. Sedillo is an avid outdoorsman, he enjoys fly fishing, skiing and golf. He also enjoys custom building western hats. Upon request in 2004, he made a custom cowboy hat for President George W. Bush.
